Subtitle: You may be wondering from the title if there is some kind of new technology that is involved with Parkour that you haven’t heard of, but that’s not at all what we meet. In this article, we bring to you the story of a young talent from Romania showing us how Parkour is done, the young futuristic way!
Gheorghe Razvan (Raz), 18-year-old high school student from Romania, blew us away with his parkour story, and all from a very young age. Raz started out by just riding his BMX in his own way. One day. Some pretty dubious guys shouted asking if he wanted to learn parkour. “I honestly thought they were cursing at me, so I just took my bike home and went back these guys, and that’s where everything started.” It has been seven years since this incident, and Raz has been training ever since. Sadly, the guys who introduced him to parkour no longer practice it anymore.
To Raz, parkour cannot be explained in a word. This is how he sees it, “by definition, parkour it is the fastest way toget from point A to point B in your own style, but if you come into this world you will realize that it is much more than that. I consider it a lifestyle, it 100% changes you.”
Platforms such as XTORK to Raz are crucial in today’s time. Although everyone gets to share their stories online, having a another platform that is recognized to share as many stories as possible within the extreme sports world gives it a different type of acknowledgment.
Because Raz is young and brings new things to the parkour seen, we’ve asked him to give out readers little tips.
- You can find all the information that you need online, always research before you test out a trick
- Push yourself, but also know your limit, trust me injuries are not pretty
- Explore and test out different ways of riding. What works for me might not necessarily work for you
